Adrian Lukis

GENERAL
Adrian focuses his practice on the legal and business matters that arise from clients’ interactions with the public sector.  We call this Government Affairs.  In particular, Adrian provides clients with guidance on regulatory matters, structuring businesses with significant governmental licensure and oversight, and public-private partnerships.  He also communicates with relevant public entities to ensure that our clients’ interests are properly understood and served.

In addition, Adrian’s practice includes corporate transactions and commercial litigation.  Since joining ILG, Adrian has assisted with the representation of a distribution client in the sale of their business for more than $60 million, managing a construction client’s numerous acquisitions and sales throughout the United States and prevailing on a number of complex litigation matters.  He has also played a key role in representation of a client in connection with an investigation by the Florida Attorney General.

Adrian is an alumnus from Florida State University as well as a 2013 graduate from the Florida State University College of Law.  During his studies in our state capital, Adrian focused his employment efforts within and surrounding Florida government from the local to state level.  Key experience included a law-clerk position in the Executive Office of the Governor General Counsel’s Office, a legislative internship with the Florida House of Representatives Local and Federal Affairs Committee, and an internship with a state-wide lobbying firm.
